Hey there! I’m Aaron Morrison—100% unapologetically Christian, retired Navy Chief Petty Officer, proud husband to my high school sweetheart, and dad-on-a-mission to eight amazing kids (yes, you read that right—eight!). Our family is big, chaotic, and fueled by faith, laughter, and lots of coffee.

My 20-year journey in the Navy took me everywhere from stormy seas to boardrooms; from 4-star generals to 3-star hotels (yikes!), but the two highlights of serving came as a Navy Career Counselor and Chief Petty Officer. I loved helping sailors chase dreams, discover purpose, and sometimes do the “plot twist” toward something totally new. That same passion for mentoring and adventure is what steered me toward--and ultimately inspired Anchored Approach.

After nearly two decades of homeschooling alongside my amazing wife, I’ve discovered just how rewarding and humbling this journey can be. Our house has seen 17 years of curriculum debates, messy science experiments, impromptu living-room concerts, and innovative yet successful teaching methods, (I once used my daughter's love of astronomy as an impromtu math lesson). It’s taught us that faith-rooted, personalized education can work wonders—especially for kids who thrive outside the norm. And let’s be honest: while my wife still handles most of the real work, I’m still working on not getting too competitive at family game night!
